About the role
The Group CFO will lead financial strategy, governance, and shared services for NoVi Holding, a diversified group operating in design & finishing, marketing services, and luxury lifestyle brands, reporting directly to CEO Ahmed Mohsen.
What you will do
- Develop and execute group-wide financial strategy aligned with NoVi Holding's multi‑sector growth objectives and investment agenda.
- Oversee consolidation, reporting, and compliance for the three subsidiaries (NoVi Designs & Finishing, NoVi Marketing Services, Maison Nefer) ensuring timely, accurate financial statements.
- Drive capital allocation decisions, including M&A evaluation, joint ventures, and internal venture funding for new design and luxury brand initiatives.
- Lead the shared services finance function (budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, risk management) to achieve economies of scale across the group.
- Partner with the HR and IT shared services heads to implement financial systems (ERP, BI) that support real‑time analytics for design production costs, marketing campaign ROI, and luxury inventory turnover.
- Establish robust governance frameworks, internal controls, and audit processes to meet local regulations and international best practices.
- Provide strategic financial insight to the CEO and Board on market trends in design, digital marketing, and luxury retail, influencing long‑term portfolio decisions.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration; CPA, CMA or ACCA certification required; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a diversified holding or conglomerate environment covering design/manufacturing, marketing services, and luxury retail.
- Proven track record of managing multi‑entity consolidations, cross‑border investments, and complex M&A transactions.
- Deep understanding of cost structures in design & finishing operations, media spend analytics, and luxury inventory valuation.
- Expertise in implementing ERP/BI platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite) across shared services functions.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax law, IFRS, and experience liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and communication skills, fluently bilingual in Arabic and English.
How success is measured
- Group EBITDA margin improvement of at least 3 percentage points YoY.
- Reduction of finance shared‑services operating costs by 10% within 12 months through process automation.
- Accuracy of financial forecasts within ±2% variance for each subsidiary on a quarterly basis.
- Successful completion of at least two strategic investments or acquisitions per year with ROI >15% within 3 years.
- Maintain audit findings at ‘no material weaknesses’ level annually.
